Apple Creek Propagators is a wholesale nursery owned by John and Rosalyn Driedger.
John grew up in family owned Patmore Nurseries in Manitoba, Canada, which instilled in him an emphasis on quality, cold hardy plant material. That same emphasis was in mind when John and Rosalyn set out to find a suitable location to produce trees and shrubs that could cope with the harsh conditions of the interior western regions of the U.S. and Canada.
Applecreek began as a bare-root grower of shade trees in the late 1980’s after purchasing 80 acres of Levig Nursery. Since those first rootstock seedlings were planted in the fall of 1987, the nursery has grown to include not only bare root ornamentals but containerized and balled & burlapped trees as well. The nursery has since expanded to about 120 acres and includes state-of-the art cold storage warehouses which are temperature and humidity controlled to maintain the quality of post harvest bare root trees and shrubs.
Apple Creek Propagators offers a product line that has been carefully selected and developed for outstanding qualities. We are pleased to provide trees and shrubs that will provide many years of enjoyment and beautification for homeowners, city forests, parks and golf courses, and the enhancement of both residential and commercial developments.
“Right intention is to the actions of a man what the soul is to the body, or the root is to the tree.” ~Jeremy Taylor
